Do I need a separate signup for the affiliate program?

No. The affiliate program is built into every CRMown account. Sign up for any plan, go to Settings, and your affiliate link is already there. No application, no approval process, no separate portal.
How are referrals tracked?

When someone clicks your referral link, a cookie is set for 90 days. If they sign up within that window, they're permanently attributed to you. You can see all your referrals, their plans, and their status in your dashboard.
When do I get paid?

Commissions are calculated monthly and paid out via Stripe on the 15th of the following month. There is a 30-day holding period for new commissions to account for refunds or chargebacks. Minimum payout threshold is $50.
What happens if my referral upgrades their plan?

Your commission is always based on what they pay. If they upgrade from Starter ($80) to Pro ($180), your commission automatically increases. If they add extra suites or vertical modules, you earn on those too.
Can I lose my commission tier?

Your tier is based on total referrals, not active ones — if some referrals churn, your tier doesn't drop, though commissions are only paid on active, paying referrals. When you reach a tier, you keep it through the end of the following calendar year. Example: hit Partner in June 2026 and you keep Partner rates through December 2027. Your 2028 tier is then set by the referrals you add across 2027 and 2028.
Can I refer someone to the Own (perpetual license) plan?

Yes. Own referrals earn a 10% one-time commission on the purchase price — $500 for Starter Own, $1,000 for Pro Own, $2,000 for Max Own. Own referrals also count toward your tier progression and free plan milestones.
Is there a limit on how many people I can refer?

No. There is no cap on referrals, no cap on earnings, and no cap on tier progression. Refer 10 people or 10,000 — you earn on all of them.
